The GH1 patient hoist has been designed to deal with day-to-day lifting needs typically encountered in private homes, sheltered accommodations and nursing homes. It takes up very little space, is easy to operate and helps make lifting and moving processes safe, simple and comfortable for users and care staff alike. Operated via a user-friendly hand control unit, it quickly and easily lifts users weighing up to 255 kg.
The GH1 makes full use of the innovative and robust technology developed for the award-winning GH3 ceiling lift – including its design, functionality and cost-effectiveness. All GH1 lifting modules are user-friendly, powerful and fast; designed for permanent or semi-permanent installation in ceiling or wall-mounted rails. They can also be used in free-standing rail systems that are ideal for immediate lifting needs, and these systems can be set up and taken down again in just 10 minutes.
Charging is quick and straightforward: placing the hand control in the GH1 docking station is all that is needed. A full charge normally takes 2–3 hours and allows the module to perform more than 55 lifts of 85 kg. The GH1 Q variant adds a quick-release system for easy click-on and click-off from the rail without tools, making it simple to move the hoist between rooms. Both the lifting module and the rail systems blend easily into the décor of any space, and the module is supplied as standard with reversible cover plates in white and yellow.
Combined with Guldmann’s comprehensive range of lifting hangers and slings, the GH1 is suitable for a wide variety of lifting and transfer procedures, and can also support mobilization exercises, training sessions and rehabilitation programes.
