The GH3 ceiling hoist is a stationary lifting module purpose-built for professional care settings. Dimensioned to handle heavy loads on a regular basis, it is available in models with a lifting capacity of 200, 250, 275, 300, 350, 375, and 400 kg on a single strap. Several versions are available and can be configured to suit individual needs regarding functionality, specifications, and budget. Combined with Guldmann’s comprehensive range of lifting hangers and slings, the GH3 is an ideal solution for a wide variety of lifting and transfer procedures.
One of the GH3’s standout features is its automatic self-charging system: the module charges through the rails regardless of its position in the system, ensuring the ceiling hoist is always ready for use. It can also be fitted with a built-in motor for horizontal movement along the traverse rail, operated via a hand control unit or an infrared (IR) remote control.
The GH3 is a Red Dot Award winner for product design. The jury noted: “With the GH3, the developers manage to create a ceiling hoist system that would blend harmoniously into the surrounding architecture and not look like a technical device. The GH3 is therefore characterised by a simple, elegant design that communicates high value and functionality.” The hoist can also be used to support mobilization exercises, training, and rehabilitation programes beyond standard patient handling tasks.
The optional Care Lift Management (CLM) system adds a digital layer to the GH3, enabling data logging, usage monitoring, and performance optimization. CLM modules are available in both cable-connected and WiFi-enabled versions, and can be combined with scale, trainer, and service monitoring modules to create a fully tailored ceiling hoist solution.
