The Trainer Module adds a powerful rehabilitation dimension to the Guldmann GH3+ ceiling hoist, extending its use well beyond standard lifting and transfer tasks. Integrated directly into the GH3+, it provides dynamic weight relief for physically challenged patients. A GH3+ hoist equipped with the Trainer Module is not only a perfect lifting and transferring solution – it also enables therapists to improve patient mobility and physical function through safe and assisted rehabilitation exercises, directly supporting early mobilization and training opportunities.
A key advantage of the Trainer Module is that rehabilitation with dynamic weight relief can begin right in the patient’s room, eliminating the need to move the patient to a physiotherapy room. The caregiver selects the amount of weight to be relieved and the Trainer Module does the rest automatically – freeing the caregiver to focus entirely on the patient and the quality of the exercise. Typical rehabilitation exercises include gait training, balance work, sit-to-stand transitions, squat exercises, and stepping on and over obstacles.
The Trainer Module has a capacity of up to 30 minutes of use when the hoist battery is fully charged. After 30 minutes of training, the module automatically switches to transfer mode, making the GH3+ immediately ready for normal lifting and moving while charging resumes automatically. The charging ratio is 1 hour of charging = 10 minutes of training time. The Trainer Module can only run on GH3+ hoists that include a Scale Module; that Scale Module continues to function as a standard weighing device when not used in conjunction with the Trainer Module.
